License and permitted use
Eagle Customizer is free-of-charge software owned by Twin Eagle Studio. We give you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on computers you own or control. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Restrictions
You may not sell, rent, or redistribute Eagle Customizer, publish modified copies, or reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows this regardless of these terms. Please share the Download page instead of the installer, so others always get the genuine, latest version.
Updates
Eagle Customizer may tell you when a new version is available. Updates are never downloaded or installed without your action. We may change or stop offering the software at any time.
No warranty
The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twin Eagle Studio will not be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the software or its use.
Responsible use
You are responsible for reviewing mappings before enabling them and for using Eagle Customizer in a lawful manner. Do not use the software to interfere with systems or devices you do not own or control.
Third-party software
Eagle Customizer is written in Rust and uses open-source components, including the Slint UI toolkit (under the Slint Royalty-free License), evdev and ksni on Linux, ureq and ring for secure update downloads, and serde for settings. On Linux it also uses tools that come with your system, such as pactl and gsettings, to control audio and device settings. Those components remain subject to their own licenses and notices.
